RAAL La Louviere has announced its Golden Wolf of the Season, and the honor goes to Sami Lahssaini. The midfielder has had an outstanding season and has become the engine of the team. Despite the challenges faced in the Relegation Play-offs of the Jupiler Pro League, Lahssaini has made a significant impact on the Wolves' game. He was loaned to La Louviere by Metz in January 2024, and this loan was later turned into a permanent transfer.

Lahssaini has developed into a very complete midfielder and has been crucial for the team. His only goal of the season came against Club Brugge, where he scored the equalizer in the 81st minute, helping La Louviere secure a victory. Additionally, he provided his only assist in September against OHL.

Lahssaini's consistency and hard work have earned him the title of best player of the season. He doesn't need outrageous statistics to impress; his game intelligence and control of the midfield have been invaluable to the club.

Alongside Lahssaini, goalkeeper Marcos Peano and left-back Nolan Gillot were also recognized for their performances. Peano has kept La Louviere alive on numerous occasions with ten clean sheets, while Gillot contributed three goals and four assists after a rocky start to the season. Supporters are proud of their team and look forward to the future.
